The Sword of Frey is an instrument (used by Balder) to fight for what is righteous against what is unrighteous. Calendar Dating Angloheathens are recommended to use the Zoroastrian Historical Era scheme. The Anglo-Saxon chronicle uses two dating systems. One starts from the supposed birth of Jesus, and one from the supposed beginning of the world. We don't start at the beginning of the world, but we have a go at starting from the beginning of our civilisation. Dating the beginning of our civilisation is not a precise science but it certainly didn't begin in 1 AD. For convenience we make our dating scheme start exactly 2000 years earlier than the Christian Era. We call our scheme the 'Historical Era (HE)'. Thus we say that this is being written in the year 4012 HE or 2012 CE.
