However I think it could just as well be Georgius Fortis - George the Brave - who along with Zartus Sapiens and Jesus Gnosticus is one of the three most important personas of Mithras in Mitravism. Georgius Fortis , like the Iranian god Verethragna, represents the power to break through resistance.
