THE AGE OF STRIFE (or Age of Chaos) “We are currently residing in the Age of Strife, the most decadent and materialistic of ages. The negative influence of this age makes all spiritual pursuit much more challenging than it would have been in previous ages. The personal struggle necessary to make meaningful spiritual progress today is thus immense. The best way to counteract the ill effects of the Age of Strife is to live as if we are already denizens of the Golden Age. This means living with honor, nobility, excellence and spirituality as the core center of our beings. We must behave in such a manner that we are worthy of a Golden Age. As a result, the Golden Age will reward us with its presence, both in our individual lives and in our immediate society. The time of riding the tiger is soon to be behind us. We will now bring the tiger into submission.” |
